WHO IS ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR THE EVENT?

If you are interested in registering for Once Upon a Gown you must be in enrolled in middle school or high school.

HOW MANY ITEMS CAN ONE PERSON LEAVE WITH?

One gown per person, along with shoes and accessories. There will be opportunities to win free stuff and raffle prizes.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

This event is catering to students who are attending their 8th grade, junior or senior prom who are in need of support. Parents and guardians are permitted to attend with their student.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE? IS IT FREE?

Parking at the community center is free. You must provide your own transportation to and from the event.

IS THE EVENT EXCLUSIVE FOR PG COUNTY?

If you are not a Prince George’s County resident or student, that’s okay! Students from the DMV area are permitted to attend, but you must register.

WHERE CAN I DROP OFF MY GENTLY USED ITEMS?

We have a list of donation locations under the Donations page, you are free to drop off all gently used items at the locations listed.

IS THERE ON-SITE REGISTRATION?

You must register online through Eventbrite – there will be no on-site registration.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO REGISTER?

Registration is FREE!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING THE DAY OF THE EVENT?

Yourself and a friend (but everyone MUST register!)!

WILL PHOTOS BE TAKEN DURING THE EVENT?

Yes, we will have photography opportunities available.

IF I VOLUNTEER CAN I GET COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS?

WILL I BE ABLE TO TRY ON A GOWN, SHOES, AND ACCESSORIES?

Yes you will be able to try on gowns that interest you in effort to find the ONE that you like
